Abstract

This research objectives were 1) to study and prioritize the needs for developing classroom research competencies 2) to compare the needs classified by school size, age, and academic status. 3) to analyze the reasons that result in the needs for classroom research. 3) To determine guidelines for developing competencies in the classroom research. The sample used in this research was 293 teachers under the Basic Education Commission in the 3 southern border provinces by using a multi-stage sampling method in step 1. And two difference group discussions in step 2 and step 3 which obtained by purposive sampling method. The research instrument was a questionnaire.
