Abstract
Children diagnosed with autism spectrum have difficulty developing communication and interaction skills. This research presents a conceptual framework for applying gamification to train social skills in face recognition in autistic children where parents are engaged and developing a web-based learning system based on the above concept by applying the Gamification model canvas. The findings of this research are: 1) Web-based learning systems should focus on presentation media, interaction, database management and learning support. 2) Gamification consists of three sub-elements: Mechanics, Dynamics and Aesthetics. In addition, the developed system can be used as a tool for continuous and consistent skill development, widely used freely, and reduced development time of teaching materials.
