Abstract

The purpose of this research was: 1) To research levels of job satisfaction. 2) To research levels of commitment to the organization. 3) To research the factors influencing employee retention. A sample group was 188 employee positions of security guards in General Southern 99 Security Co., Ltd. Data was collected with questionnaires. Statistical functions used for data analysis included frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, Independent Sample t-test, One-way ANOVA (F-test), and Multiple Regression Analysis. The results of this study revealed that the security officers in this case study were mainly female in the ages range between 40 and 49 years old and single. They were graduated from high school grade 9 and earned approximately 9,001 � 15,000 baht per month. Less than or equal to 12 months of working experience. The levels of job satisfaction and commitment to the organization were high. The hypothesis test that factors regarding different demography: sex, age, average monthly income, and working experience resulted in no different employee retention.
