Abstract

This research aimed to study 1) the level of transformational leadership of school administrators, 2) the level of growth mindset of teachers, 3) the relationship between the transformational leadership of school administrators and the growth mindset of teachers, and 4) the predictors of transformational leadership of school administrators affecting the growth mindset of teachers under the Narathiwat primary educational service area office II. The sample consisted of 91 schools under Narathiwat primary educational service area office II. The research instrument was a 5-rating scale questionnaires. The reliability value of the questionnaire of transformational leadership of school administrators was .973 and the reliability of the questionnaire of teacher�s growth mindset was .958. The statistics used for data analysis included mean, standard deviation, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and entering multiple regression analysis. The results were as follows: 1) The overall level of transformational leadership of school administrators was at a high level. The aspect with the highest mean was individual consideration, and the aspect with the lowest mean was idealized influence 2) The overall level of teachers' growth mindset was at a high level. The aspect with the highest mean was persistence and commitment, and the aspect with the lowest mean was embracing challenges 3) The transformational leadership of school administrators and teachers' growth mindset had an overall very high positive correlation at the .01 level of significance. 4) There were 4 aspects of transformational leadership of school administrators affecting teachers' growth mindset: inspirational motivation, vision for change, intellectual stimulation, and individual consideration, with the predictive coefficient of .716 at the .01 level of significance.
