Abstract

Augmented Reality (AR) media is widely embraced in advertising, print media, and education for its capacity to overlay 3D imagery or videos onto real-world environments captured by a camera. Yet, AR's broader adoption faces challenges. Firstly, AR development demands programming skills beyond those typically possessed by 3D artists. Secondly, users often must install specific add-ons to access AR content. This study introduces an architectural design for an AR media development system empowering 3D artist to create AR content without programming proficiency. Moreover, the system employs WebXR technology to enable direct access to developed content through any web browser, eliminating the need for extra software installations. The proposed architecture was prototyped for testing, demonstrating capability to support up to 20 3D models per WebXR page while maintaining satisfactory user experience and framerate.???????????????????????
