Minor Thesis Title The Evaluation Study of Southern Border Volunteer Defense Corps Training Project (Bannang Sata District Volunteer Defense CorpsNo. 6Author Sakkarin PuttaroMajor Program Public AdministrationAcademic Year 2024ABSTRACTThis research aims to evaluate the behavior and outcomes of participantswho completed the training program to enhance the capabilities of the Border Patrol Volunteer Corps members in the Southern Border Provinces, under the 6th Border Patrol Volunteer Corps of Bannang Sata District. The evaluation was conducted using Kirkpatrick's model.The research population consisted of supervisors and colleagues of the Border Patrol Volunteer Corps members within the 6th Corps of Bannang Sata District, who had completed the training program, totaling 167 participants.The research tools used were questionnaires to assess the participants' opinions onhow they applied the knowledge gained from the training to their work, and on the impact on the organization after the training. The data were analyzed using percentage, mean, and standard deviation. The study found that both the supervisors and colleagues of the trainees perceived the participants' application of the knowledge to their work as being at a high level. Additionally, the outcomes evaluation concering the impact on the organization after the training, specifically in terms of addressing issues in the Southern Border Provinces, was also rated at a high levelThe recommendations from this research are as follows: Relevant agencies involvedin the training program should organize additional specialized trainers and implement regular evaluations, follow-ups, behavior observations, and skill assessments in simulated training scenarios.This will ensure that the trainees can effectively apply the knowledge gained to real fieldwork operations. Furthermore, they should be able to collaborate efficiently with other agencies and local communities in the area.
