Abstract

This research aims to 1) study work effectiveness of the Customs officers in the Regional Customs Bureau 4, 2) compare levels of work effectiveness of the Customs officers in the Regional Customs Bureau 4 classified by individual factors, and 3) study factors of group cohesiveness affecting work effectiveness of the Customs officers in the Regional Customs Bureau 4. A sample group in this study was 180 academic and general Customs officers of the Regional Customs Bureau 4. Data were analyzed by using descriptive statistics, T-test statistics, One-Way ANOVA, and Multiple Linear Regression. Research results show that in overall, work effectiveness of the Customs officers in the Regional Customs Bureau 4 is in the highest level. Compared to of individual factors; different ages, status, levels of education, job positions, and years’ work experiences, it is statistically significantly different at 0.05 which equals to the factor of group cohesiveness affecting work effectiveness of the officers.
