Abstract

The objective of this research was to develop the cooperative education information system of the faculty of Engineering, Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya and increase the level of student's satisfaction in cooperative education programs participation in terms of data on establishments and document processing times. The method used in this study was quality function deployment (QFD) that was used to find the characteristic which response to the sample group's requirement. The sample group were students registering for cooperative education courses for semester 1/2019. QFD provides helpful information for the development of the final product. Results from the research were used as guidelines for cooperative education information systems. After that, the developed cooperative education information system was used to assess satisfaction from target users. The result of developing revealed that the target of work was achieved. The highest satisfaction score of cooperative education information system from users was the system had the establishment information and can search for this information, followed by the system could demonstrate the result which meets the need of students, and the operational time of documents could be reduced that these issues received satisfaction scores from users at 4.87, 4.81, and 4.79, respectively.
