Abstract

Abstract

This is the study of teamwork factors affecting working efficiency of government officer of the Customs Department in Songkhla province. The objectives of this study are 1) to study the work performance of government officer of the Customs Department in Songkhla province, 2) to compare the work performance of government officer of the Customs Department in Songkhla province, classified by personal factors, 3) to study the factors affecting teamwork that have an impact on the performance of government officer of the Customs Department in Songkhla province, by collecting data through questionnaires from a sample group of 149 people. The statistical methods used to analyze the data include frequency distribution, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, F-test, analysis of variance (ANOVA), and multiple regression analysis. The research found that the level of efficiency in the work performance of the government officer of the Customs Department in Songkhla province was at the highest level. The results of comparing the work performance of the government officer of the Customs Department in Songkhla province classified by personal factors found that the officers, regardless of gender, status, and workplace, had no significant difference in working efficiency with statistical significance at the level of 0.05, while age, level of education, position, and length of service had a statistically significant difference with statistical significance at the level of 0.05. Finally, it was found that teamwork factor had a significant impact on the working efficiency of government officer of the Customs Department in Songkhla province, with statistical significance at the level of 0.05.
