Abstract

The purposes of this research are to: (1) examine the level of factors influencing organizational commitment among teachers under Trang Primary Educational Service Area Office 2, (2) assess the level of organizational commitment among these teachers, and (3) identify the factors that can predict their organizational commitment of teachers under Trang Primary Educational Service Area Office 2. The sample group consists of 207 teachers from schools under the Trang Primary Educational Service Area Office 2. The research instrument is a five-point Likert scale questionnaire. Statistical methods used for data analysis included percentage, mean, standard deviation, and multiple regression analysis.The research findings indicate that: (1) the factors influencing teachers� organizational commitment, both overall and in individual aspects, are at a high level, with job interaction opportunities having the highest mean score among the factors; (2) the overall level of organizational commitment among teachers is also high, with acceptance of organizational goals and values scoring the highest; and (3) the combination of predictive factors accounts for 74.3% of the variance in teachers� organizational commitment at a statistically significant level of .01. The predictive variables comprised: Job autonomy (X1), fulfillment of expectations by the organization (X10), perceived organizational support (X9), job variety (X4), sense of personal significance (X8), attitudes toward colleagues and the organization (X11), and feedback received (X2).
