Abstract

This study is a descriptive research. The purpose of this study was to study the management of coronavirus infection 2019 in a secondary school, Songkhla Province. Qualitative data was collected by in-depth interviews with school administrators and group discussions with school-related people, teachers and staff, parents, students, each group of 10 people. Data was collected between April 2023 - May 2023. Data was analyzed using content analysis. The results of the study revealed that the management of coronavirus 2019 infection in the pre-epidemic stage is preventable by implementing the main measures DMHT-RC and the school emphasizes strict compliance with the measures. During the epidemic managed to reduce violence by adhering to the main measures DMHT-RC combined with the supplementary measures SSET-CQ. Both mental and physical recovery are managed. Due to individual factors, students still lack knowledge and understanding. They were not aware that infection may infect vulnerable groups and will affect others severely. As for the environmental factor, the area inside the school is crowded. The school population is large. There are not enough prophylactic materials. As for the systemic and mechanical factors, the school does not have a working group responsible for the epidemic within the school. and no adaptation of the DMHT-RC guidelines to the school context. Guidelines for the management of coronavirus disease 2019 in schools should have guidelines that focus on consistency with the context of the educational institution and conducive to actual practice. To prepare and to deal with the outbreak of the disease effectively. So that students, teachers, and staff in educational institutions can live safely.
