Abstract

The purpose of this present study is to examine the relationship between individual- and organization-level factors and happiness in learning among undergraduate students at Prince of Songkla University in Pattani campus. Using quantitative research methods, the authors distributed survey questionnaires to 420 undergraduate students and employed multiple regression analyses to examine the relationships among these variables. The results show that students from different faculties and different years. There was no significant difference in the level of happiness in the study' and the findings showed that two individual-level factors (i.e., self-esteem and openness to experience) and two organization-level factors (i.e., instructors' characteristics and classroom learning environment) were significantly and positively related to students' happiness in learning, whereas relationships with peers and university environment did not influence students' happiness. Overall, the proposed model could explain about 32.7 percent of the variance in students' happiness.
