Abstract
The purposes of this research are to (1) examine the level of curiosity in online learning; (2) investigate the factors that influence curiosity in online learning; and (3) provide suggestions for enhancing online teaching and learning of Songkhla Technological College. The study sample consisted of 177 students enrolled at Songkhla Technological College in Mueang District, Songkhla Province. Data were collected via questionnaires and were analyzed using frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and multiple regression.
The results showed that (1) students exhibited a high level of curiosity in online learning, and (2) there were three factors that influenced curiosity in online learning — namely, the quality of online learning content (Beta = 0.331), adequacy of online teaching tools and resources (Beta = 0.292), and the capability of academic personnel (Beta = 0.258). These results emphasize the importance of these factors in influencing students' curiosity towards online learning. Consequently, Songkhla Technological College should prioritize the enhancement of online learning content quality, the availability of online teaching tools and resources, and the capability of academic personnel to foster curiosity in online learning among students.
