Abstract

The objectives of this study on the motivation affecting the performance efficiency of employees in Songkhla Provincial Administrative Organization were 1) to study the level of efficiency of the performance of Songkhla Provincial Administrative Organization employees; 2) to comparatively study each employee motivation within Songkhla Provincial Administrative Organization on the efficiency of the performance; and 3) to study motivation affecting the performance efficiency of Songkhla Provincial Administrative Organization employees.The study was done by surveying questionnaires to 300 Songkhla Provincial Administrative Organization employees. Thereafter, the data was statistically analyzed using frequency distribution, percentage, average, standard deviation, and inferential statistics (including one-way analysis of variance, correlation coefficient, and multiple linear regression). The study showed that the overall performance efficiency level of Songkhla Provincial Administrative Organization employees was high. The average scores were in the following order: timeframe received the highest average score, followed by quantity and quality, while worthiness received the lowest average score. The comparative study of each employee's motivation within Songkhla Provincial Administrative Organization on performance efficiency showed no significant difference in the level of efficiency of the performance between different sexes, ages, statuses, education levels, durations of work, and categories of each employee. In addition, the motivation affecting the performance efficiency of Songkhla Provincial Administrative Organization had a significant statistic level of 0.01, with the level of influence at 75.90 percent.
