| dc.description.abstract | A Study of "Lead Time Reduction for New Regular Slotted Carton (RSC) Development and Production" begins with the study of various processes, working methods, and time consumed in activities for designing and manufacturing new products. The scope of the study covers from receiving information from customers to delivering products to customers per their request. The objective of this research is to reduce the overall lead time by at least 15%. The data from the study of various factors affecting on time consumption and time losing were analyzed and examined for the root causes by using industrial engineering techniques, 7 quality tools, Roll paper analysis, queuing management system and productivity improvement techniques. It was found that the workflows in both material and information caused queuing. The insufficient quantity from production line was a cause of repeated production. The Loss of overall equipment effectiveness due to various causes was also the duplicated work. The improvement was approached by analyzing the work flow, then using Pareto charts to prioritize the data. Moreover, the improvement activities were accomplished by using appropriate techniques. After the improvement, it was found that lead time was reduced by 29.08% from previously 3,250 minutes to be 2,305 minutes, totally decreased by 945 minutes. Along with the reduction of Lead time, it also reduced in some of the non- value activities on workflow. The case study can enhance the competitiveness of the factory which affected to the customer's satisfaction. | - |
| dc.description.abstract-th | การศึกษาการลดระยะเวลานําของการออกแบบและผลิตสินค้าใหม่กล่องลูกฟูกแบบ ร่องสล็อตมาตรฐานกรณีศึกษาโรงงานตัวอย่างในจังหวัดสงขลานั้น เริ่มต้นจากการศึกษากระบวนการ ต่างๆ วิธีการทํางาน และเวลาที่ใช้ไปในกิจกรรมเพื่อออกแบบและผลิตสินค้าใหม่ โดยมีขอบเขต การศึกษาตั้งแต่การได้รับข้อมูลสารสนเทศจากลูกค้า จนถึงสามารถส่งมอบสินค้าตามความต้องการ ของลูกค้าได้ โดยวัตถุประสงค์ของงานวิจัยนี้เพื่อต้องการลดเวลานําของกระบวนการโดยรวมลงไม่น้อย กว่า 15% ข้อมูลที่ได้จากการศึกษาถึงปัจจัยต่างๆ ที่ส่งผลต่อการใช้เวลาหรือสูญเสียเวลา ถูกนํามา วิเคราะห์และดําเนินการศึกษาเพื่อหาสาเหตุ โดยใช้เทคนิควิศวกรรมอุตสาหการ เครื่องมือคุณภาพทั้ง 7 ชนิด (7 QC tools) การวิเคราะห์กระดาษม้วน การจัดการระบบแถวคอย รวมไปถึงเทคนิคการปรับปรุง ประสิทธิภาพ พบว่าสาเหตุเกิดจากกระบวนการไหลของงาน ทั้งในส่วนวัสดุและสารสนเทศทําให้เกิด การรอคอย การผลิตสินค้าไม่ครบจํานวนทําให้เกิดการผลิตซ้ํา การสูญเสียประสิทธิผลโดยรวมของ เครื่องจักรอันเนื่องมาจากสาเหตุต่างๆ รวมไปถึงการทํางานที่ซ้ําซ้อนกัน สําหรับแนวทางการปรับปรุงนั้น ได้นําผังการไหลมาวิเคราะห์ จากนั้นใช้แผนภูมิพาเรโตมาจัดลําดับความสําคัญของข้อมูล และดําเนิน กิจกรรมการปรับปรุงโดยเลือกใช้เทคนิคที่เหมาะสมในการดําเนินกิจกรรมนั้นๆ ซึ่งภายหลังการปรับปรุง พบว่าสามารถลดเวลาลงได้ 29.08% จากเดิมที่ใช้เวลาตลอดกระบวนการ 3,250 นาที เป็นเวลาใหม่ใน กระบวนการ 2,305 นาที ลดลง 945 นาที นอกจากนี้ทําให้เกิดการพัฒนาระบบเทคโนโลยี รวมไปถึง การลดขั้นตอนการทํางานที่ไม่เกิด มูลค่าลงได้ ทําให้โรงงานกรณีศึกษาสามารถเพิ่มศักยภาพทางการ แข่งขัน และตอบสนองความพึงพอใจลูกค้าได้มากขึ้น | - |
