Abstract
Abstract
The objectives of this study were to study the quality of life of staff at
Hat Yai Airport before and during the coronavirus epidemic situation in 2019 and to
study the relationship between social media and the quality of life of Hat Yai Airport
employees during the epidemic situation. The research tool was a questionnaire. The
questionnaires were completed by 175 employees of Hat Yai Airport. The results
acquired from questionnaire were analyzed by the Statistical Package for the Social
Sciences program (SPSS). The statistical method used in the analysis were frequency,
percentage, mean, standard deviation, Pearson Correlation, and Wilcoxon Sign Rank
Test Stats.
The results of the research found that
1. Most of the respondents were male (65.1%), married status
(55.4%), age 26 - 33 years (44.0%), salary less than or equal to 20,000 baht (39.4%) ,
bachelor's degree (54.3%) and 3 - 7 years in work experience (34.3%)
2. A sample group of employees at Hat Yai Airport used various social
media platforms in various ways during the epidemic of coronavirus disease 2019
which were LINE, FACEBOOK, YOUTUBE, INSTAGRAM, TIKTOK and TWITTER, respectively.
3. Quality of Life Management of Hat Yai Airport Employees before
and during the coronavirus disease 2019 epidemic situation was considered at the
highest level in general.
4. The use of social media had a statistically significant correlation
with the quality of life of Hat Yai Airport employees during the epidemic situation of
the Coronavirus Disease 2019.
