Abstract

Abstract

The purposes of this research were intended: 1 ) to development the massive open online course (MOOC) on Muslim way of life in food consumption to promote cultural knowledge for General Public, 2 ) to study the knowledge building behavior of the learners who studied withthe MOOC on Muslim way of life, 3) to study the learning achievements before and after studying with the MOOC on Muslim way of life and 4) to study the satisfaction of students after studying of the MOOC on Muslim way of life. The samples consisted 124 undergraduate students. The research instruments consisted of MOOC quality evaluation form and students learning achievement tests. The findings were as follows: 1) the results of the evaluation of the massive open online course (MOOC) on Muslim way of life in food consumption to promote cultural knowledge for General Public at the highest level 2) the results of the study of knowledge-building behavior of the learners who studied with the MOOC on Muslim way of life after learning was higher than before learning 3 ) the results of the study the learning achievements before and after studying with the MOOC on Muslim way of life after learning was higher than before learning at the statistical significance at the .01 level. and 4) study the satisfaction of students after studying of the MOOC on Muslim way of life at the higher education level was at the highest level of suitability (𝑥̅=4.65, S.D.=.57)
