Abstract

The current study aims to examine the levels of awareness for change, trust in leader, and employees’ readiness for change. Furthermore, this study examined the influence of an awareness for change and trust in leader toward employees’ readiness for change in CAT Telecom PLC, Customer service department - Southern Region. The questionnaires were used to collect data from all employees, but only 244 questionnaires were usable, representing a response rate of 71.76 %. Frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and multiple regression analysis were implemented. The results revealed the moderate levels of all variables, with the lowest score of trust in leader. Additionally, an awareness for change and trust in leader significantly influenced employees’ readiness for change. Thus, an organization should be aware of the importance of how to develop an awareness for change, and how to increase trust in leader among employees to influence employees’ readiness for change, which can further improve the organization finally.
