Abstract

ABSTRACTThis research aimed to (1) study the level of ethical leadership among school administrators, (2) investigate the level of happiness organization in schools, (3) examine the relationship between ethical leadership and the happiness organization, and (4) identify the predictive variables of ethical leadership affecting the happiness organization in schools under the jurisdiction of the Phatthalung Primary Educational Service Area Office 2. This study employed a quantitative research approach. The sample consisted of 114 schools under the Phatthalung Primary Educational Service Area Office 2 in the academic year 2024, with a total of 356 participants including school administrators, academic department heads, personnel department heads, and teachers�4 persons per school. The sample was selected using stratified random sampling based on school size. The research instrument was a 5-point Likert scale questionnaire. Data were analyzed using percentage, mean, standard deviation, Pearson�s correlation coefficient, and multiple regression analysis.The results revealed that:(1) The overall level of ethical leadership among school administrators was at the highest level. The highest mean score was found in the aspect of responsibility, followed by justice, participation, generosity, trust, and respect, respectively.(2) The level of happiness organization in schools was also at the highest level. When considered by aspect, the highest mean was in ethics and morality, followed by knowledge-seeking, health, good relationships, and relaxation.(3) Ethical leadership was positively and significantly correlated with happiness organization at the .01 level.(4) The ethical leadership variables that significantly predicted happiness organization were trust, generosity, and participation.
