Abstract
A cross-sectional study was applied to analyze the factors that affect to the
stress and recommendation the guidance to control the stress of security staffs during working hour in Walailak University, Nakhon Si Thammarat. A total amount of security staffs is 90 (100%) involved in this study. The modification statistic model from Suanprung Stress Test 20 (SPST-20) was used to collect the personal factors and working environment factors that may affect to the stress. This modification model uses the describe quantitative statistic, percentage and frequency and inferential statistics, T-test and F-test to analyze stress level. The results exhibited that the stress level of the security staffs is in normal level (non-stress), mild stress
and moderate stress with the total amount of 42.2%, 16.7% and 2.2% respectively. It found that gender and work experience affect to the stress significantly (a= 0.05).
Moreover, working environment is leading to different stress level (a= 0.05). From the analysis indicated that the factors that most put out the stress are working
environment which is sound, heat, light and workplace (sentry box). To increase work efficiency of security staffs, the following factors must be adjusted which are the luminance, sentry chair and other involved equipment. Thus, the stress will be decrease.
