Abstract
Abstract
This study uses a one-group pre- and post-test design to examine the impact of the Marathon group counseling program based on the Satir model on self-efficacy perception in relapse prevention. It is experimental research without a control group. 13 people who were chosen for the sample through purposeful sampling were included. Two research tools were employed in this study: First, a general questionnaire and a relapse prevention questionnaire's self-efficacy perception are used as data collection tools. Second, there are 7 activities in the Satir model-based marathon group treatment program. It takes place over the course of 2 days and 1 night (20 hours). The effectiveness of the program instrument was assessed with the help of three experts using percentage, average, standard deviation, and post-hoc analysis.
According to the study's findings, there is a degree of significance of.01 between the participants' pre-test and post-test scores on the relapse prevention test, and the post-test score is greater than the pre-test score. The assessment results of their own relapse prevention skills have generally improved since the application of this approach.
