Abstract

The objectives of this study were to study the level of students' public mind of Prince of Songkla University, Hat Yai Campus, to research the level of social environmental factors of Prince of Songkla University and to survey social factors of Prince of Songkla University on affecting students' public mind. The population was the second to fourth year students in the academic year 2017, Prince of Songkla University, which was 386 participants. The population was selected by using stratified sampling. The instrument was a questionnaire with 0.862 reliability. The data were analyzed by using frequency, percentage, means, standard deviation and simple regression. It was revealed that Prince of Songkla University students' public mind was at the high level. Moreover, overall social environment facts of Prince of Songkla University, Hat Yai Campus were at the high level. Social environmental factors of Prince of Songkla Unversity, Hat Yai Campus affected the students' public mind with statistical significance at 0.001. Also, social environmental facts had influence and could predict the students' public mind with 30%.
