Abstract

This study aimed to investigate level and extent of intellectual capital of hotels in Phuket, Krabi, Phangnga and Trang provinces, and to test an influence of intellectual capital on corporate performance measured by balanced scorecards of hotels in Phuket, Krabi, Phangnga and Trang provinces. By mail questionnaires, samples were 279 hotels that response hotels were 218 hotels (78.14 percent). As the results, intellectual capital in terms of human capital, social capital, and organizational capital was in high level. Moreover, there was a positively significant influence of social capital, and organizational capital on corporate performance measured by balanced scorecards, while there was no influence of human capital, and any control variables on balanced scorecards.
