| dc.description.abstract | The catering business of Chinese restaurants in Phuket has always been an area of attention. With the booming tourism industry, Chinese restaurants play an important role in this popular holiday destination. With the influx of more and more Chinese tourists and international tourists, the development of Chinese restaurants in Phuket has become increasingly important. This thesis will adopt a qualitative research method to interview Chinese restaurants from 5 representatives in Phuket, as well as people who have lived in Thailand for more than 10 years and have a deep understanding of Thai history and Chinese food-related fields. Researcher found that the research objectives include studying the adaptability of Chinese restaurants in Thai society and exploring the catering of Chinese restaurants in different local cultural communities. By studying these aspects, we can better understand the cultural adaptation process of Chinese restaurants in Phuket and how they attract and serve customers from different cultural backgrounds. This study helps to expand our understanding of the development of the international catering industry in tourist attractions and provide useful inspiration for related industries. This cross-cultural food experience helps to enhance Phuket's attractiveness in the global tourism market and further promote the diversification and internationalization of its catering market. Given Phuket's geographical location and supply chain constraints, it is recommended that Chinese restaurants establish more stable cooperative relationships with suppliers or local growers to increase the procurement of fresh ingredients. This can include working with suppliers in nearby countries to obtain spices and ingredients commonly used in Chinese cuisine. | - |
