Abstract

The objectives of this research were: (1) to study the success level of strategic plan administration, development of health service system at Yantakao Hospital; (2) to study internal factors (McKinsey’s 7S Framework) and management of the Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) affecting the success of strategic plan administration, development of health service system at Yantakao Hospital; (3) to study problems/obstacles of strategic plan administration, development of health service system at Yantakao Hospital. The study was conducted in all 180 personnel of Yantakao Hospital. Data were collected by using a questionnaire and then analyzed to determine percentage and standard deviation, and multiple regression analysis. The results showed that, among all respondents: (1) the success level of strategic plan administration, development of health service system at Yantakao Hospital were at a good level; (2) the factors related to the success of strategic plan administration, development of health service system at Yantakao Hospital were internal factors (McKinsey’s 7S Framework) and management of the Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), internal factors (McKinsey’s 7S Framework) were staff, structure and shared values, which had a predictive value of 53.7%; and (3) the problems/obstacles of strategic plan administration, development of health service system at Yantakao Hospital were the number of employees working is insufficient and Coronavirus disease 2019, causing limitations in operations to control the spread of the disease Personnel are unable to carry out the project.
