การศึกษาปัจจัยที่ส่งผลต่อการเสพยาเสพติดของผู้ต้องหาคดียาเสพติด : กรณีศึกษาในพื้นที่จังหวัดสงขลา

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to 1) study personal factors affecting to drug offenders in Songkhla for making decision to use drug for the first time 2) study social factors that affect the drug accused of drug crimes 3) economic factors affecting the drug accused of drug crimes and 4) to study environmental factors affecting to drug offenders in Songkhla for making decision to use drug for the first time. The sample is a group of 125 drug addict who were arrested and receiving drugs treatment program at Than Ya Rak Songkhla hospital. An example of statistics used is frequency, percentage. The results showed that most of the sample group are 20 - 30 years old males are aged, Buddhists religion who are single with high school education and employed with salary 3,000 – 5,000 THB per month. So most of them are staying with their family like brother, sister, father or mother. And then they are so strong and have got good health before using drug. They are 20 - 30 years old for the first time of drug using and the first type of drugs is cigarette and Methamphetamine. But they also still believe that they stop using drug by themselves and they deny drug treatment program in hospital. So the most of personal factors is persuaded close friends and the second is curious trying without realize about caution. Especially, divorce family and domestic violence is the main social factor that affected drug offenders aside from this, they live and learn about their boyfriend/girlfriend behavior who is drug addicted or they have got in toxic relationship with boyfriend/girlfriend so they use drug to get their lover attention and their lover are maybe drug addicted. Lastly, we have never forgotten the economic factors because this factor is the most important factor like high living expenses, unfair wages, higher household debt and poor people. People with economic problem are very easily decide to use drug for solving or forgetting their problem. For the environmental factors related economic factors so the drug addicted can normally get drug in community near their living area and they also have close relationship with people who purchased drugs so this is the great network for person who addicited or purchased and merchandised
