Abstract
Abstract
This research has the following objectives: 1) To determine levels of work efficiency, core competency and perception of justice. 2) To compare levels of work efficiency of Provincial Police Region 9 by personal factors. 3) To study core competency in work and perception of justice affecting work efficiency of of Provincial Police Region 9. The sample were a total of 170 officials at Provincial Police Region 9. The research instrument was a questionnaire. The statistics used in the research were frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, comparison of sample means, one-way ANOVA, and multiple regression analysis.
The results of this research indicated as follows: The levels of core competency in work of Provincial Police Region 9 were at a high level with the highest mean in the aspect of adherence to righteousness and ethics. The levels of perception of justice of Provincial Police Region 9 were at a high level with the highest mean in the aspect of compensation. The levels of work efficiency of Provincial Police Region 9 were at a high level with the highest mean in the aspect of quality of work. The results of comparing the levels of work efficiency of Provincial Police Region 9 by personal factors represented as follows: The officials at Provincial Police Region 9 with different gender, age, marital status, educational level, salary, rank level, and public service period had indifferent levels of work efficiency. The factors of core competency in work, adherence to righteousness and ethics as well as teamwork affected work efficiency of Provincial Police Region 9 with a statistical significance level of 0.05. The factors of perception of justice and procedure affected work efficiency of Provincial Police Region 9 with a statistical significance level of 0.01.
