Abstract

The Study's objectives aim to investigale the level of outcome-based education of vocational education institutions in Songkhla Province and test for factors inflveacing on outcome-based education of vocational education institutions. Using 756 students of vocational education institutions in Songkhla Province as population, 146 students are used as the samples in this study. The statistics used were frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation and multiple regression analysis. The results illustrated that the overall outcome-based educational management in the 5 areas ranked in the course side the highest score, measurement and evaluation, in learning, management Teacher and support for learning The Student competencies in the 3 areas ranked in the performance in the areas of professional value, code of ethics, and attitude yielded the highest score, followed by the areas of professional skills and technical competence, respectively. For the influence of the outcome-based educational management towards the students' performance, it was discovered that the outcome-oriented educational management in the areas of measurement and assessment, teacher, and study support positively affected to the students' performance in the areas of technical competence, where the outcome-oriented educational management in the areas of measurement and assessment and study support positively affected the students' performance in the area of professional skills, and the outcome-oriented educational management in the areas of program, measurement and assessment, and study support positively affected the students' performance in the areas of professional value, code of ethics, and attitude, and the outcome-oriented educational management in the area of program positively affected the students' performance in the areas of examination outcomes of national vocational tests where the professional experience positively affected the grade point average.
