The reliability of the Coping Strategies Questionnaire was examined and yielded the alpha of Cronbachs of .70. The qualitative data were analyzed using content analysis. The quantitative data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and Pearson Product Moment Correlation. The results showed that the subjects appraised the stressful situation during epidemic of Coronavirus Disease 2019 as (1) harmful and threat to health, and (2) impact to life lead to loss and powerlessness. The mean score of the stress was at a moderate level (M = 3.81, SD = 2.51). The most common coping method used was the palliative coping followed by problem-solving coping, and emotional management coping. Stress level was found to be a significantly positive correlation with the emotional management coping strategies (r = .502, p < 0.01), but significantly negative correlation with the problem-solving coping strategies (r = -.377, p < 0.01).
