Abstract

This research study aims to 1) develop the process of 6A Based Learning promoting the ability to analyze the value of literature and 2) compare the ability to analyze the value of literature of students. Before and after learning with the 6A Based Learning stage, the research is divided into two phrases. In the first phrase, it is the developing process of teaching with 6A Based Learning to promote the ability to analyze the value of literature. Followed by the second phrase, it is the comparison of the capability to analyze the value of literature of 9th grade students. During the stage before and after learning with the 6A Based Learning, the researcher applies the One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The target group are 37 of 9th grade students, who studied in Thai language subject during the second semester of 2023 academic year, from Demonstration School Prince of Songkla University. Research instruments are composed of lesson plans according to 6A Based Learning as well as pre-test and post-test of the competency in the value of literature. The researcher analyzes the data by utilizing the mean score of the competency in the value of literature. Then, the data is compared with the scale including the t-test dependent analysis. The results are as follows. 1) 6A Based Learning comprised of 6 stages; (1) Activate, (2) Analyze, (3) Assemble, (4) Arrange, (5) Advise, (6) Apply. 2) After learning with 6A Based Learning, students had the ability to analyze the value of literature in every aspect differently before learning with 6A Based Learning with the statistical significance at .01. Students had the ability to analyze the value of literature at a low level before applying 6A Based Learning (M = 1.96). After learning with 6A Based Learning, students� abilities were at a high level (M = 3.82).
