Abstract
The purpose of this research was to determine the levels of operational efficiency, to determine levels of attitude of government staffs in Krabi Town Municipality, to compare the work effectiveness of government staffs in Krabi Town Municipality classified by personal factors, and to investigate the attitude affecting work effectiveness of government staffs in Krabi Town Municipality. The sample included 226 public personnel employed by the krabi municipality. A questionnaire was used as the research instrument. Frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, comparison of sample means, one-way ANOVA, and multiple regression analysis were employed in the study.
The results of the study revealed that the overall level of work effectiveness of government staffs in Krabi Town Municipality was found to be at a high level. The overall attitude level of government staffs in Krabi Town Municipality was at a high level with the highest mean in the aspect of loyalty, attitude towards the organization and attitude towards work, respectively. The results of comparison of the work effectiveness of government staffs in Krabi Town Municipality classified by personal factors indicated that government staffs in Krabi Town Municipality with different gender, age, and marital status had different levels of work effectiveness with no statistical significance. And government staffs in Krabi Town Municipality with different education level, monthly income and work experiences had different levels of work effectiveness with a statistical significance level of 0.05. And the factor of attitudes affected the overall work effectiveness of government staffs in Krabi Town Municipality with a statistical significance level of 0.01.
