อิทธิพลของการปกครองท้องที่และการปกครองส่วนท้องถิ่นที่มีต่อความสุขของประชาชน: กรณีศึกษาพื้นที่ตำบลวังใหม่ อำเภอป่าบอน จังหวัดพัทลุง

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to study 1) the levels of citizens’ satisfaction with subdistrict and village administration 2) the levels of citizens’ happiness and 3) the influence of citizens’ overall satisfaction and happiness, who lived in Wangmai Subdistrict, Pabon Dustrict, Phatthalung Province on the Subdistrict Administrative Organization (SAO). A sample of 240 citizens was collected from Wangmai Subdistrict, Pabon Dustrict, Phatthalung Province. The data were analyzed using frequency, percentage, means, standard deviation and multiple regression. The results showed that levels of citizens’ satisfaction with the subdistrict and village administration and SAO were high. The level of citizens’ happiness who lived in Wangmai Subdistrict, Pabon Dustrict, Phatthalung Province was high as well. Furthermore, the results showed that satisfaction with both forms of government had positive direct effects on citizens’ happiness. The proposed model was able to explain 41.2 variance in citizens’ happiness. Also, the results revealed that citizens’ satisfaction with the SAOs had a stronger effect on citizens’ happiness when compared with the effect of citizens’ satisfaction with the village administration.
