| dc.description.abstract | Since China's reform and opening up, there has been a significant increase in Chinese students studying overseas. Since 2000, the number of international students in Thailand has continuously increased. The purpose of this study is to examine the characteristics and demands of Chinese international students at Prince of Songkla University's Phuket Campus in the context of this development trend. The research sample consists of Chinese students on the Phuket campus, and local Chinese community leaders are seeking interviews on the "triangular relationship" (international students, overseas Chinese, and local society) to solve long-term difficulties. The researchers want to interview 127 Chinese students at Thailand's Prince of Songkla University, with fifteen doing in-depth interviews before reporting and analyzing their findings. In addition, interviews with five PSU staff (three teachers and two housekeepers), three Chinese supervisors for Q&A sessions, and twenty-three persons are being sought. This research investigates the cross-cultural adaptation and growth of international students in Thailand, assessing their living and learning environments, interactions, interpersonal connections, and social support networks, as well as offering remedies and ideas for improved adjustment. As a critical group in today's cross-cultural survival and growth, international students evaluate their living conditions overseas, including communication and interpersonal interactions, to measure their level of cross-cultural adaptation. Building ties and social support networks can help international students adjust better to their cross-cultural living environment. | - |
