Abstract

ABSTRACTThe purpose of this research were 1) to study the level of growth mindset as perceived by teachers under the Pattani Primary Educational Service Area Office 2; 2) to study the level of being a learning organization in schools under the Pattani Primary Educational Service Area Office 2; 3) to examine the relationship between the teachers� perceived growth mindset and the schools� status as learning organizations under the Pattani Primary Educational Service Area Office 2; and 4) to identify the growth mindset predictors influencing the schools� status as learning organizations, as perceived by teachers in schools under the Pattani Primary Educational Service Area Office 2. The research instrument used in this study was a five-point Likert scale questionnaire. The statistics employed for data analysis included percentage, arithmetic mean, standard deviation, and multiple regression coefficient.The research findings are as follows: 1) the overall level of growth mindset as perceived by teachers under the Pattani Primary Educational Service Area Office 2 was at the highest level; 2) the overall level of being a learning organization in schools under the Pattani Primary Educational Service Area Office 2 was at the high level; 3) the relationship between teachers� perceived growth mindset and the schools� status as learning organizations under the Songkhla Primary Educational Service Area Office 2 was positively correlated at a very high level, with statistical significance at the .01 level; and 4) the growth mindset components, including embracing challenges, persistence in the face of obstacles, effort leading to learning, learning from criticism, and drawing inspiration from others� success, were predictors of the schools� status as learning organizations, accounting for 78.80 percent of the variance, with statistical significance at the .01 level.
