แนวทางแก้ไขปัญหายาเสพติดโดยผู้นำชุมชนและประชาชนในพื้นที่ตำบลบาราเฮาะ อำเภอเมือง จังหวัดปัตตานี

Abstract

The objectives of this research were to 1) To study the current situation of drug problem and 2) To study solution guidelines of drug problem by community leader and local people in Barahor sub-district, Mueang district, Pattani Province. An in-depth interviews were used as an instrument to collect data from a sample of 20 people, comprised of community leaders and local residents of Barahor sub-district, Mueang district, Pattani Province. The data was analyzed by using content analysis. The results showed that the current situation of drug problem in the community are; drug dealers were not been found but they are several drug users, and the most spread out drug was Mitragynine or Kratom. In addition, a strong community leader have the capability in preventing and solving drug problem within the community. The solution guidelines for solving drug problem are; community leader support and encourage on project activities by providing morality training, providing effective drug education and knowledge, sport development and encourage in building good relationship within the family. Moreover, the community commenced the “Hugum-Pakat” or the (Rules of Community), and establish drug treatment center of their own community under the name “Ban San Suk” or (A Happy Home). All sectors were participated in this program as well as young people who were involved in drug and their parents were well cooperated. The community leader of Barahor sub-district plays a significant role in creating a solid cooperation and network system with other community leaders, as to encourage working integration, strengthen and unify the community leaders as well as local communities.
