dc.description.abstractThe private holdings, Co-operative holdings and settlement holdings of oil palms in Trang, Songkhla, Krabi, Chumphon, Stun and Surat-Thani provinces were selected for making the surveys which were commenced in June 1984 to Au- gust, 1984. The samples were taken by a stratified random sampling technique. by taking about 10% of the holders of each types. The total yield was calculated and statistical analyses were employed. From the surveys, results showed that oil palm post-production system particularly of co-opera- tive and settlement types were faced with many problems such as marketing, pricing and transportation. They need a guaranteed price for their produce and small palm oil mills in the oil palm planted areas.en_US
