dc.description.abstractThe main purpose of this research is to apply clean technology for reducing water use in the tire production industry. The scope of this study covers 2 main area i.e. office buildings and production and wastewater treatment section. The results show that the factory consumes 8.73 cubic meters of water per ton of product. The research methodology are 1) Study of water usage in the factory 2) Process analysis and selection 3) Propose of alternative approaches 4) Economical analysis of alternative approaches 5) Comparison of alternative approaches before and after and conclusions. In the study, the evaluation of the area of using a lot of water with the Pareto diagram for a thorough evaluation showed that the top 4 of office buildings and production that use the most water are BGD135, production buildings. Rinsing tank and latex buildings respectively. The top 3 of the wastewater treatment section are chemical preparation activities. Machine cooling activity and cleaning activities respectively. The simple approaches to reduce water use in factory 1) to manage the production planning and improve the communication to the relevant department for adjust the work process according to current production 2) Adjustment the method of product cooling process 3) Maintenance of heat exchangers to work efficiently 4) Reuse of water in the process of lifting rubber sheets, washing floors etc. 5) Adjusting the cleaning frequency and improving the cleaning equipment. The result show that 11.09% decrease of water use in factory or 0.97 cubic meter per ton of production. Total saving cost of water consumption was 11,723,934 baht per year and saving cost of waste water treatment cost was 17,585,901 baht per year.en_US
