ความต้องการสารสนเทศและพฤติกรรมการแสวงหาสารสนเทศด้านการศึกษาต่อ ในระดับปริญญาโทของนักศึกษาระดับปริญญาตรี มหาวิทยาลัยของรัฐในสามจังหวัดชายแดนภาคใต้

Abstract

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ 1) ศึกษาความต้องการสารสนเทศ ในด้านเนื้อหา รูปแบบและแหล่งสารสนเทศ 2) ศึกษาการแสวงหาสารสนเทศ ในด้านเนื้อหา รูปแบบ และแหล่งสารสนเทศ 3) ศึกษาความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างปัจจัยส่วนบุคคล กับความต้องการสารสนเทศและพฤติกรรมการแสวงหาสารสนเทศ และ 4) ศึกษาปัญหาและอุปสรรคที่เกิดจากการแสวงหาสารสนเทศ ด้านการศึกษาต่อในระดับปริญญาโท ของนักศึกษาระดับปริญญาตรี มหาวิทยาลัยของรัฐในสามจังหวัดชายแดนภาคใต้ในการศึกษาต่อระดับปริญญาโท กลุ่มตัวอย่างในการวิจัยครั้งนี้ คือนักศึกษาระดับปริญญาตรี ชั้นปีที่ 3 และปีที่ 4 ของมหาวิทยาลัยสงขลานครินทร์ วิทยาเขตปัตตานีมหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏยะลา และมหาวิทยาลัยนราธิวาสราชนครินทร์ ประจำภาคเรียนที่ 1 ปีการศึกษา2555 จำนวน 388 คน ซึ่งผู้วิจัยใช้แบบสอบถามในการเก็บข้อมูล วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยใช้สถิติค่าเฉลี่ยค่าร้อยละ และค่าไคสแควร์ (Chi – Square)ผลการวิจัยพบว่า1. ความต้องการสารสนเทศด้านการศึกษาต่อในระดับปริญญาโท พบว่า1.1 นักศึกษามีความต้องการสารสนเทศด้านเนื้อหาของสารสนเทศ ด้านการมีงานทำมากที่สุด รองลงมาคือ ด้านสถาบัน และน้อยที่สุดคือ ด้านอาจารย์1.2 นักศึกษามีความต้องการสารสนเทศด้านรูปแบบของสารสนเทศ ประเภทวัสดุตีพิมพ์ มากที่สุดรองลงมาคือ สื่ออิเล็กทรอนิกส์ และน้อยที่สุดคือ วัสดุไม่ตีพิมพ์ 1.3 นักศึกษามีความต้องการสารสนเทศด้านแหล่งสารสนเทศ ที่เป็นแหล่งสารสนเทศที่เป็นเทคโนโลยี และการสื่อสาร มากที่สุด รองลงมาคือ แหล่งสารสนเทศบุคคล และน้อยที่สุดคือแหล่งสารสนเทศสถาบัน 2. การแสวงหาสารสนเทศด้านการศึกษาต่อในระดับปริญญาโท 2.1 นักศึกษามีการแสวงหาสารสนเทศด้านเนื้อหาของสารสนเทศ ด้านหลักสูตร มากที่สุด รองลงมาคือ ด้านค่าใช้จ่าย และน้อยที่สุดคือ ด้านความยากง่าย ในการศึกษา 2.2 นักศึกษามีการแสวงหาสารสนเทศด้านรูปแบบของสารสนเทศ ประเภทวัสดุตีพิมพ์ มากที่สุด รองลงมาคือ สื่ออิเล็กทรอนิกส์ และน้อยที่สุดคือ วัสดุไม่ตีพิมพ์ 2.3 นักศึกษามีการแสวงหาสารสนเทศด้านแหล่งสารสนเทศที่เป็น แหล่งสารสนเทศที่เป็นเทคโนโลยี และการสื่อสารมากที่สุด รองลงมาคือ แหล่งสารสนเทศบุคคล และน้อยที่สุดคือแหล่งสารสนเทศสถาบัน 3. ความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างปัจจัยส่วนบุคคล กับความต้องการสารสนเทศและพฤติกรรมการแสวงหาสารสนเทศ ที่พบว่ามีความสัมพันธ์กันได้แก่ 3.1 ชั้นปี มีความสัมพันธ์กับกับความต้องการสารสนเทศและพฤติกรรมการแสวงหาสารสนเทศในด้านเนื้อหา รูปแบบ และแหล่งของสารสนเทศ 3.2 ศาสนา มีความสัมพันธ์กับความต้องการสารสนเทศด้านรูปแบบของสารสนเทศ 3.3 เกรดเฉลี่ยสะสม มีความสัมพันธ์กับความต้องการสารสนเทศด้านแหล่งสารสนเทศ 4. นักศึกษามีปัญหาและอุปสรรคที่เกิดจากแหล่งสารสนเทศ มากที่สุด รองลงมาคือ ปัญหาและอุปสรรคที่เกิดจากผู้แสวงหาสารสนเทศ และน้อยที่สุดคือ ปัญหาและอุปสรรคที่เกิดจากตัวสารสนเทศ The objectives of this study were 1) to study the information needs in contents, formats and source; 2) to study the information seeking in contents, formats and source; 3) to examine the relationship between personal factors with information needs and information seeking; and 4) to investigate the problems, obstacles and suggestions of information seeking for Master's Degree Education of Undergraduate Students of Public University in the Three Southern Border Provinces. The samples of the study are 388 of undergraduate students in Year 3 and Year 4 from Prince of Songkla University Pattani Campus, Yala Rajabhat University and Princess of Naradhiwas University in 2011 academic year. Questionnaires were used to collect data. Data was analyzed by using mean, percentage and Chi – Square. The results showed that : 1. Information Needs for further education of Master's Degree found that : 1.1 The students’ information needs for contents of employment was to do their reports as the most, institute was to do their reports as the minor and lecturer was to do their reports as the least. 1.2 The students’ information needs for formats of printed materials was to do their reports as the most, electronic materials was to do their reports as the minor and non- printed materials was to do their reports as the least. 1.3 The students’ information needs for sources of and technology mass media was to do their reports as the most, personal resources was to do their reports as the minor and information services resources was to do their reports as the least. 2. Information Seeking for further education of Master's Degree found that : 2.1 The students’ information seeking for contents of course was to do their reports as the most, expense was to do their reports as the minor and difficulty was to do their reports as the least. 2.2 The students’ information seeking for formats of printed materials was to do their reports as the most, electronic materials was to do their reports as the minor and non- printed materials was to do their reports as the least. 2.3 The students’ information seeking for sources of technology and mass media was to do their reports as the most, personal resources was to do their reports as the minor and information services resources was to do their reports as the least. 3. Relationship between personal factors with information needs and information seeking. The finds a relationship include: 3.1 Year level relationship with information needs and information seeking in terms of information content, information form and information source. 3.2 Religion relationship with information needs in terms of information form. 3.3 GPAX relationship with information needs in terms of information source. 4. The students’ have problems and barriers of information sources was to do their reports as the most, person was to do their reports as the minor and information was to do their reports as the least.
