ผลการปรึกษากลุ่มแบบผสมผสานและการสอนเสริมเพื่อเพิ่มผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียนวิชาภาษาอังกฤษของนักศึกษาระดับปริญญาตรี มหาวิทยาลัยสงขลานครินทร์ วิทยาเขตปัตตานี

Abstract

การวิจัยครั้งนี้ เป็นการวิจัยเชิงทดลอง (Experimental research ) แบบสองกลุ่ม (Two group design) ได้แก่กระบวนการกลุ่มแบบผสมผสาน และการสอนเสริม เพื่อศึกษาและเปรียบเทียบความแตกต่างของผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียนวิชาภาษาอังกฤษของกลุ่มนักศึกษากลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการวิจัยคือนักศึกษาที่กำลังศึกษาในระดับปริญญาตรีมหาวิทยาลัยสงขลานครินทร์วิทยาเขตปัตตานี ที่คะแนนไม่ผ่านเกณฑ์รายวิชาภาษาอังกฤษ รหัสวิชา 417-102 English II และได้ลงทะเบียนเรียนใหม่ในภาคการศึกษาที่ 2/2558 จำนวน 46 คน โดยแบ่งเป็นกลุ่มการปรึกษาแบบผสมผสาน และกลุ่มสอนเสริมจำนวน 23 คน เท่ากัน ใช้วิธีสุ่มกลุ่มตัวอย่างอย่างง่าย กลุ่มการปรึกษาแบบผสมผสานประกอบไปด้วยทฤษฎีการให้การปรึกษาแบบพิจารณาเหตุผล อารมณ์และพฤติกรรม, ทฤษฎีพฤติกรรมนิยมและการให้ข้อมูลด้านจิตวิทยา แบ่งออกเป็นสองกลุ่มย่อยเพื่อให้การปรึกษา กลุ่มละ 11 คน และ 12 คน ตามลำดับ เข้าร่วมกลุ่มการปรึกษากลุ่มละ 14 ครั้ง ครั้งละ 1-1 ½ ชั่วโมง เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัยคือโปรแกรมกลุ่มแบบผสมผสานเพื่อเพิ่มผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียนวิชาภาษาอังกฤษ และกลุ่มสอนเสริมเข้าชั้นเรียนจำนวน 14 ครั้ง เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัยคือแผนการสอนเสริม สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลได้แก่ Paired sample t-test และ Independent samples t-test ผลการวิจัยพบว่า การปรึกษากลุ่มแบบผสมผสานและการสอนเสริม สามารถเพิ่มผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียนวิชาภาษาอังกฤษอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .01 และเมื่อเปรียบเทียบคะแนนผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียนหลังการทดลองระหว่างสองกลุ่มพบว่า นักศึกษาที่เข้าร่วมกลุ่มการปรึกษาแบบผสมผสานมีผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียนวิชาภาษาอังกฤษไม่แตกต่างกับกลุ่มการสอนเสริม This experimental research involves a two-group design and aims at identifying the effects of eclectic group counseling (Rational emotive behavior therapy, Behavioral approach and psychotherapy and Psychology education) and remedial teaching on English achievement. The study was conducted with 46 students of Prince of Songkla University, Pattani campus, who failed English II in the first semester of academic year of 2015, and repeated the course in the academic year, 2016. They were divided into two groups by using sample random sampling: 23 students for eclectic group counseling and 23 students in remedial teaching group. The group for eclectic group counseling was then divided into two subgroups: 11 students and 12 students respectively. Students in each subgroup were assigned to attend group counseling 14 times, each time for 1.5 hours. The research instrument was eclectic group counseling program to enhance learning. On the other hand, students in the remedial teaching group were asked to participate in the remedial teaching program 14 times. The research instrument used for this group was a remedial teaching plan. Paired sample t-test and independent t-test were used for analyzing the data. The findings revealed a significant increase of students’English competency by both approaches, at the level of .01. Moreover, there was no significant difference in the achievements of students attending eclectic group counseling and students in the remedial teaching group.
